Weekend in Xi’an

Hi everyone,

This is just a very short (but colourful!)  post. Last weekend, my friends and I organised a little trip to Xi’an. We had such lovely time and I thought it would be a great idea to share some of those moments with you guys!


Este será un post corto pero con muchas imágenes! El fin de semana pasado, mis amiga y yo planeamos un viaje corto a Xi’an. La pasamos excelente, y se me ocurrió compartir algunos de esos momentos con ustedes!


 

Some facts about Xi’an:

It is one of the oldest cities in China. Xi’an is the oldest of the Four Great Ancient Capitals of China, having held the position under several of the most important dynasties in Chinese history,including Zhou, Qin, Han, Sui, and Tang. Xi’an is the starting point of the Silk Road and home to the Terracotta Army of Emperor Qin Shi Huang. The tour we took with chinatour.net was incredibly helpful and interesting. Our tour guide was very helpful and told us some of the most amazing stories about Xi’an. The flight from Shanghai to Xi’an took around 2 and a half hours.


Algunos datos sobre Xi’an:

Es una de las ciudades mas antiguas de China. También, es la mas antigua de las ‘4 Grandes Capitales Chinas’ mantuvo esta posición durante el reinado de las más importantes dinastías en la historia de China, incluyendo Zhou, Qin, Han, Sui y Tang. Xi’an es el punto de partida de la ruta de Seda y hogar de los ‘Guerreros Terracota del Emperador Qin Shi Huang’. El tour que tuvimos con chinatour.net fue de gran ayuda y super interesante. Nuestro guía nos contó las más interesantes historias sobre la ciudad. El vuelo desde Shanghai a Xi’an duró aproximadamente 2 horas y media.
