Feeling confident in your own SKIN

Easier said than done right?

We are all self-conscious about something in our skin that always lead us to end up wearing make up, even though sometimes we wish we could just go out of our house with no a single drop of make up on our face at all.

I am not perfect and I am perfectly conscious of it. But, I have managed to feel confident in my own skin with no need for make up. For example, you know those lazy Sundays in which, all you want to do is to stay in bed, or go outside for food wearing your pyjamas. Well, in those days, wearing no make up and feeling good about it, comes in very handy!

So, let´s state something first, I really believe that feeling comfortable in your own skin is the most important thing and the best make up is not a good foundation, but a great quantity of confidence in yourself.

With that being said, YES!! I love make up !!! BUT we should not forget about our skin, as good (and fun) as make up is, we have to be aware of the consequences that wearing make up can cause in our skin, from clog pores to black spots. So, I will share with you some of the most amazing products I use to take care of my skin.

products

  1. Estee Lauder Face Wash – Perfectly Clean (it can also be used as a facial mask)
  1. Lancome Toner – Tonique Éclat. Clarifying Toner
  1. Lancome Bienfait Multi’vital-  Day cream with sunscreen lotion SPF 30
  1. Lancome Genifique Yeux- eye gel for dark circles and eye illuminator
  1. Lancome Genifique lotion- youth activating
  1. Lancome Bienfait multi-vital- night lotion
  1. Clean & Clear- spot advance treatment (just in case everything else fails)

I know it may look like an unnecessary bunch of products but they are remarkable at what they do. I am very conscious of my dark circles, so when I started using 4. Genifique Yeux, they really started to reduce and I feel good going out with no make up at all, not even concealer.

We all need a facial wash, sleeping with your make up on is one of the worst things you can do to your skin ( I will not get into details, but it is) and increases the chance of getting black spots and acne. Whilst a facial wash is good to remove make up, a toner is important for a more in-depth cleanse of the pores. I Use 1 and 2 respectively.

After that, all you need is a moisturizer that, you can use in the day before you make up routine or at night before going to sleep, or both, just like I do. One of the differences between day and night creams is that most day creams come with sunscreen protection, to avoid getting sun marks in your skin. I use 3 and 6.

You can use my list as a guide of the products you should get to take care of your skin but remember that products change depending on your type of skin, if you are not sure about what type of skin you have I recommend you go to somewhere like boots or Selfridges and pick a brand of your liking, and I am sure that one of the assistants at any of the brands there can tell you what your type of skin is.

  1. Estee Lauder Face Wash – Perfectly Clean (it can also be used as a facial mask)
  1. Lancome Toner – Tonique Éclat. Clarifying Toner
  1. Lancome Bienfait Multi’vital-  Day cream with sunscreen lotion SPF 30
  1. Lancome Genifique Yeux- eye gel for dark circles and eye illuminator
  1. Lancome Genifique lotion- youth activating
  1. Lancome Bienfait multi-vital- night lotion

Yo uso productos 3 y 6.
